Meet the 2022 Wisconsin Valley Fairest of the Fair

Brenna is the daughter of Bob and Ann Murry from Mosinee, WI. Brenna’s passion for agriculture started at a young age from growing up as the sixth generation on her family’s dairy farm. She began showing dairy cattle at the age of two in the Little Britches Dairy show at the Athen’s Fair. Brenna joined Casa Mara 4-H when she turned five and started showing in Cloverbuds at the Wisconsin Valley Fair and Athen’s Fair. When Brenna was older, she became Vice President of Casa Mara 4-H for two years and President for three years. She graduated out of 4-H in the fall of 2021. Brenna was also very involved in Mosinee FFA where she was an officer for three years in the positions of Treasurer, Vice President, and Student Advisor. In addition, Brenna served a year as a junior representative on the Wisconsin Valley Junior Fair Board.

Brenna will be starting her third year at UW-River Falls this fall where she is majoring in Agricultural Education. She will be student teaching and then graduating in the spring of 2023. Brenna is involved in multiple organizations on campus including Agricultural Education Society, Alpha Tau Alpha, and Dairy Club. After graduation, Brenna’s goals are to be an agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor as well as continuing to help on her family’s dairy farm.

Brenna is super excited for the fair and is honored to be serving as the 2022 Wisconsin Valley Fairest of the Fair!

We choose the Fairest of the Fair each year in late winter/early spring. The Fairest is the ambassador for the fair, spending his or her summer promoting the fair to many schools, day care centers and other facilities.

Watch for the application in December if you are interested in being next year's Fairest of the Fair.
